My 6 tips to set your home for abundance

There’s something I’ve noticed over the years: the objects we surround ourselves with matter... they either lift us up… or quietly hold us back.

It’s not really about luxury in the traditional sense. It’s about how things make you feel. Do they inspire you? Comfort you? Remind you of who you’re becoming or just who you’ve been?

When we fill our homes with things that feel poor, heavy, or purely practical, we start living in that same energy. But when we choose to live with beauty, with care, with intention… something opens. The energy shifts. We soften. We expand. We start expecting more from life. It's all connected,

As someone who’s fascinated by both the emotional and energetic side of spaces, I’ve found that a few simple changes can make a huge difference. Here are some ideas I come back to often, a mix of psychology, feng shui, and lived experience:

Let go of what feels heavy

You know that object that makes you sigh or shrink a little every time you pass by? Things carry energy. And if that energy is connected to scarcity, resentment, or survival, it holds you in that same vibration. Try letting go of just one thing that makes you feel heavy. Notice how it feels.

Keep what lights you up

We often downplay how much joy a single object can bring. A cushion in your favorite shade. A ceramic bowl with the perfect texture... These small pleasures are actually powerful subconscious affirmations: you deserve beauty. Keeping them close is a way to reconnect with your sensuality, your creativity, your abundance.

Choose natural materials

Natural fibers like cotton, wood, stone, or silk have a grounding effect on us. They calm the space and connect you back to nature, back to yourself. In psychology, we know that texture can calm the nervous system and make a space feel safer and more nurturing.

Declutter your entrance

This is where energy enters (literal and simbolically). In feng shui, it’s known as the “mouth of chi,” and it sets the tone for everything that follows. A cluttered or forgotten entrance can block abundance from entering your life. Keep it clear, beautiful, welcoming. You don't want clutter, dirt or old things entering your life.

Romanticize your routines

Pour your coffee into your favorite cup. Light your favorite candle. Buy fresh flowers. Get new sofa cushions in your favorite color. These small daily rituals signal to your body and mind that you are loved, cared for, worthy of pleasure. And when we start showing up for ourselves in this way, abundance has a way of showing up too :)

Let your home match your frequency

Think about how you want to feel: abundant, creative, free...? Your home can become a mirror for a version of you that feels that way, it's a gentle reminder of where you’re heading. Choose pieces that make you feel how you want to feel. Let it be a slow, soulful curation of a life you’re building with intention.

Give yourself the best, life will mirror that <3
